Our Team
The Global Security & Building Operations team develops and manages programs and services that promote a safe, secure and well-maintained office space while supporting the business needs of our customers.
The Role
The Manager, Corporate Security is responsible for developing, implementing and managing security solutions to safeguard the organization’s employees, visitors and assets in the U.S. while providing assistance to the international team in maintaining global corporate standards and processes to limit exposure to liability.
Responsibilities
1. Provides daily direction and oversight of all Knoxville security operations. Is a member of the corporate security team and assists with domestic and international security projects and incidents as needed
2. Review facility safety and security procedures and ensure best practices are established. Collaborate with building operations and other business units to ensure the procedures support the business operations and business continuity
3. Manages the guard force, provides oversight and guidance as well as input on staffing levels and compliance of procedures. Ensure all security staff members are active Knoxville County Sheriff Deputies and are permitted to work this extra-duty assignment
4. Create and maintain the Post Orders document that details rules and procedures for the guard force team. The Post Orders shall be reviewed annually and edited when appropriate
5. Create a training program for the guard force staff members. Maintain records of all training
6. Manage all aspects of the Security Control Center to include access control and CCTV systems, alarm monitoring and surveillance of all US offices. Ensure all equipment is operating properly and efficiently and act as the liaison with IT to troubleshoot connectivity outages7. Ensure the Security Control Center is properly staffed, ensuring 24-hour coverage. Create a training program for the Security Control Center staff. Maintain records of all training
8. Maintain the visitor management system equipment and supplies to ensure the program operates efficiently
9. Collaborates with the Information Security team to address and minimize the risk of a cybersecurity incident through the access control and CCTV systems
10. Conducts internal and external investigations in conjunction with corporate governance
11. Oversees the development and distribution of the monthly and quarterly security reports in compliance with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) requirements
12. Manages the incident reporting program to ensure reports are produced and distributed in a timely manner
13. Determines the appropriate staffing and security equipment needed for external events
14. Collaborates with and provides support to internal departments for policies, procedures and programs as needed
15. Develops and maintain ongoing relationships with domestic law enforcement agencies and global intelligence organizations to advise management of security issues as needed
25. Participate in special projects and performing other duties as assigned
26. Manages Office Vulnerability program from established baseline to overseeing Risk Assessments, summarizing findings and developing recommended action plans
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in security, law enforcement, criminal justice or equivalent training
* Minimum of 10-15 years of demonstrated success and productivity in law enforcement, security and/or risk management industry. 5 years of work experience managing security staff and access control & CCTV systems
* Must be able to work a flexible schedule, follow detailed procedures, and have excellent customer service skills; able to work collectively and independent of intensive supervision
* Effectively communicate and network within all levels of the organization, including briefing management on status of security issues
* Creative writing skills to author complex procedure documents, post orders, training programs and directives
* Ability to manage multiple and simultaneous priorities, complex situations and client requirements on an ongoing basis
* Computer proficiency required including Word, Excel and Power Point
* CPR, AED and First Aid certification
* Must have the legal right to work in the United States
