We are currently recruiting experienced Analyst to Discovery's FP&A Center of Excellence - organization that maintains worldwide operations.

The role of the FP&A Affiliate Revenue team is to forecast affiliate business in DNI region covering EMEA/LATAM/APAC and provide performance reporting and analysis to local business partners and leadership team with identified risks and opportunities, so management can take corrective actions if necessary.
Responsibilities
• Financial support for commercial business analysis, including variance analysis and performance management
• Manage annual budget and monthly reforecast process: build statistical forecast, advise, challenge, present
• Support accounting month end process with commercial commentary sense checks and sign off
• Manage one source of truth of key contractual financial affiliate information for the region (pricing, packaging, subs)
• Analysis and tracking of sales contracts execution, performance vs targets, pricing development
• Researching, tracking, and reporting on affiliate external sales of markets/affiliates – joint cooperation with local distribution and finance teams to develop key accounts intelligence which will be used for any future negotiations or market analysis
• Simplify existing modelling and maintenance processes for contractual data managed in EPM revenue system
• Advise and drive developments in revenue systems (i.e. AFS) and process improvements within other finance functions (billing, collections) to provide more accurate and timely reporting
• Work with Accounting team to improve business and accounting controls.
Requirements
• Min 2 years of working experience preferably with experience in commercial FP&A.
• Fluent English
• Progressive experience and deep understanding in finance
• Working experience with financial control, management reporting and business analyses, preferably within an international environment
• Intellectual capacity to digest complex information, see trends and analysis through data and to translate this into concrete actions
• Excel advanced
• Experience in working in a matrix organization is a plus
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong team player
• Business driven attitude and a sparring partner for management
• Excellent analytical skills
