Join Discovery’s Integrated Ad Sales Marketing team, a cross-platform marketing organization that is revered by clients and sales for our ability to connect ideas, innovation and insights to achieve our client’s goals and maximize revenue. The Ad Sales Marketing team is responsible for creating exciting advertiser programs across Discovery’s US networks which include: HGTV, ID, Animal Planet, DIY Network, Food Network, TLC, OWN, Cooking Channel, Discovery Channel, Travel Channel, Science & Motor Trend Network. We are also responsible for promoting Discovery’s value to the advertising community through targeted and strategic B2B marketing programs such as advertising, events, trade shows, and presentation materials.

This best-in-class strategic marketing team supports the company with marketing initiatives and materials that have the greatest impact on the advertising community, evolving with the needs of our dynamic business.
The Creative Coordinator will directly support the Creative Services team in the daily management of various projects across Discovery’s portfolio of networks and will be responsible for making sure large design projects are on time, on budget, and approved by all key stakeholders. This person will bring a client-focused approach to ensure that information is shared between internal clients (goals, feedback, change direction, etc.) and adjust scheduling to meet the needs of various campaigns. The Coordinator should be an expert organizer and have meticulous attention to detail to track and facilitate communication for these business developments. Maintaining a calm and respectful, team-oriented professional work environment are integral to this position. The Creative Coordinator will be someone who has the ability to think on their feet and keep open communication with the Associate Art Director, Design Project Specialist, and Director.
Responsibilities
1. Assist print and video creative teams in daily management of creative projects, tasks, and planning
2. Proactively drive schedules and track progress while being able to quickly react to changing business needs
3. Learn and maintain project management system and ensure that all project files remain organized and naming conventions are clear and adhered to
4. Daily management and organization of Creative shared drives, libraries, media/assets
5. Gather assets from internal groups for projects prior to submitting for design and source photos/assets as needed
6. Share information between design and video teams to ensure project synergies are identified early in the process
7. On large projects with multiple content creators, serve as creative hub, managing music registration, streamlining selects, and other essential tasks
8. Become proficient in cloud-based presentation software tool and other support applications
9. Be flexible to learn new skills and change direction as the role may naturally evolve
Requirements
* 1 years of experience – advertising or media industry experience preferred
* Must possess excellent written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills including the ability to interact with all levels of management, staff, and external vendors
* 4-year college degree
* Ability to remain calm under high-pressure deadlines while upholding staff and client expectations
* Be a self-starter that asks questions and is motivated to learn more
* Attention to detail, excellent time management and problem-solving skills: ability to schedule team members’ time on projects, manage/traffic multiple projects at once; prioritize projects and work-flow based on business needs
* Experienced in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
* Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign a Plus
* Must have the legal right to work in the United States
