The Team
The GOLFTV Digital Marketing team is responsible for overseeing the development and execution of strategies and tactics designed to acquire and retain GOLFTV users and subscribers globally.
This role will report to the Sr. Director, Digital Marketing and serve as a member of the larger Growth Digital Marketing team, working in close collaboration with Discovery’s in-house Media Strategy Analytics and CRM teams.
Responsibilities
1. Assist the Digital Marketing team in executing all areas of the digital marketing funnel including advertising, CRM/email, site optimization and engagement tactics.
2. Collaborate in the development and delivery of creative assets produced by a mix of internal and agency resources.
3. Utilize an understanding of the golf ecosystem (tours, players, events) to help GOLFTV maintain an authentic brand voice and surface relevant storylines in marketing materials.
4. Help establish and maintain an organized digital asset library accessible to media and partners.
5. Create and update a detailed calendar with key event and marketing dates as part of a broader communications planning process.
6. Responsible for day-to-day management and oversight of the team media budget.
7. Collaborate with the Data Analytics team to ensure detailed reporting and updates can be delivered to senior leadership and can inform business decisions.
Requirements
* At least 2 years of creative or media agency, or e-commerce experience.
* A general understanding of the digital media technology ecosystem and the processes involved in executing digital media campaigns.
* Understanding of paid digital streaming and subscription ecosystem is a plus.
* Experience and interest in sports, specifically golf, is a plus.
* Self-starter, highly motivated, positive demeanour, excellent communicator, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
* Reasonable availability to respond to requests and monitor/optimize campaigns outside normal business hours as needed.
* Polished professional with excellent interpersonal communication skills.
* Strong analytics skills are a must.
* College degree required.
* Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
* Position to be based in New York City.
