Full Time Job
Provide administrative and process support in the daily execution of TV Commercial Operations functions as it relates to commercial clearance and inventory management. Knowledge of various digital delivery services, traffic systems and TVCO Guidelines as they relate to commercial content review. Cross-training and experience on all applicable traffic functionalities is required. Responsibilities may include but not be limited to duties listed below.
Responsibilities
1. Coordinate workflow and production of daily commercial inventory, including data management, purge requests and provide monthly air checks for commercial and programming as requested by auditors
2. Work with manager to define and develop efficient work processes and procedures in a manner that ensures maximum revenue retention and high-quality output; explain and enforce established policies with emphasis on consistency and adherence to processes
3. Interact daily with ad sales, promotion, and other internal and external business partners to resolve content issues, provide information needed in the workflow process; expedite materials (instructions, tapes, billboards, promotional fill material) and serve as a contact for problem resolution
Requirements
* Minimum 2-year experience in an administrative role preferably within a broadcasting/cable environment
* High initiative level with willingness to continue cross-training and ability to manage high volume and meet all established deadlines; demonstrated flexibility and focus in high stress environment with emphasis on being a team player
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
* Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures with strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a deadline driven environment
* Strong organizational skills
* Ability to work within time constraints and exhibit flexibility in work hours based on business needs and seasonal demands
* Must exhibit excellent problem-solving abilities
* Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office applications
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to compile, code, categorize, audit or verify information or data
* Ability to enter, store or maintain information in written or electronic form
* Must have the legal right to work in the United States
