The Role
Reporting to the Dayside Operations Manager, the Citrix Analyst role is split 80/20. 80% of the role is responsible for the daily support and administration of all Discovery Communications Citrix infrastructure and providing 24x7 on-call support. 20% of the role pertains to engineering efforts/projects.
Responsibilities
• Effectively support all aspects of DCI Citrix and its underpinning Windows OS infrastructure 24x7 by maintaining the Citrix environments at appropriate patch level, responding to and resolving all trouble tickets within the SLA.
• Ensure configuration, change and event management processes, procedures and controls are implemented and adhered to.
• Continually review, recommend changes and implement technology best practices, guidelines and repeatable processes.
• Monitoring end-user access.
• Authoring documentation for updating infrastructure, support and procedures.
• Able to demonstrate a high degree of flexibility, including flexibility in working hours to support customers across multiple time zones.
• Maintain skillset for career growth.
• Ensuring communications are accurate and timely for multiple audiences.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships across all IT disciplines
• Run internal periodic mentoring/training sessions on DCI Citrix for technology support teams.
• Any other responsibilities/projects as requested.

* 2 years Citrix Administration
* 2 years application support
* Working knowledge of ITIL
* Ability to multi-task within related functions
* Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication and customer service skills
