The Billing Supervisor is responsible for leading the maintenance and reconciliation of accounts receivable, ledger accounts, financial statements, and reports. Leads the maintenance and reconciliation of accounts receivable ledger accounts, financial statements and reports.
Responsibilities
What you will be doing:
1. Acts as team lead in preparation, recording and verification of accounts receivable transactions
2. Acts as team lead in producing reports and analyses of accounts that are in arrears
3. Contributes to the development of accounts receivable policies and procedures and ensures external and internal controls and policies are adhered to
4. Assists in the preparation of billing inquiries
5. Applies thorough/advanced functional/technical and business knowledge related to one’s specialty area to accomplish tasks and responsibilities
6. Learns and applies new information, concepts, and techniques in area of practice
7. Adjusts work plans and priorities in response to unexpected or immediate needs of others on team
8. Employees will also perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
What you need to have:
*Associate’s degree from an accredited institution
*Minimum of 5 years of related experience
It’s a plus if you have:
*Proficient working with Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint, MS Outlook.
*Experience with Hyperion, PeopleSoft and SAP strongly preferred
*Attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational skills
*Strong organizational skills with ability to act independently and responsibly
*Capacity to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Must be able to work collaboratively with team members and function as team lead as needed
*Ability to work independently as well as in cross-functional groups
