The Directors Guild of America seeks an experienced professional to lead its Residuals Enforcement Department. The Administrator/Director of Residuals Enforcement provides critical analysis of current and prospective residuals and entertainment industry issues and developments to support collective bargaining agreement negotiations and contract enforcement. This position requires the ability to identify areas of concern and interest and develop proposed solutions, oversees a team of claims representatives to ensure residuals are paid properly and timely, and plays a key role in enhancing and protecting the economics rights of DGA members. The Administrator/Director of Residuals Enforcement works closely with DGA executives, other department administrators, the DGA Research and Legal department staffs, outside auditors and attorneys, and studio, production company and payroll house residuals and labor relations personnel. The successful candidate must have excellent written and verbal communications skills, complete mastery of Excel, and the ability to build strong professional relationships while aggressively representing the Guild and its members. Residuals and supervisory experience required. Law degree a significant plus. Title and salary range dependent on qualifications and experience of successful candidate.
