Job Summary:
We have a new specialist opening in the EMEA Executive Search Function, for a Researcher to join us on a 12 month fixed term contract.
Reporting to the Director of Executive Search EMEA, the Researcher will assist in the delivery of our Executive Search objectives, through provision of a quality driven, cost effective and timely service to Disney across EMEA. Responsibilities will span live roles which are recruited both internally and externally, succession planning and market intelligence projects. The individual will attend client briefings, assist with the writing of job specifications and adverts, identify suitable candidates internally as well as via research (including Linked in). With the input of the Director, he or she will also conduct calls to market on select roles and determine the best candidates to put through to initial interview.
The Researcher will help manage the end-to-end executive recruitment process to ensure the selection of best candidate for each position. The role will assist the Director with client management, including the sending of weekly update reports, answering search related questions and dealing with broad executive recruitment related requests. This role will also input to EMEA wide projects, such as Succession Planning, Diversity & Inclusion and HR events.
The Researcher will be expected to become a subject matter expert for Disney EMEA and help to ensure that The Walt Disney Company is viewed as an 'Employer of Choice.' for Executive talent.

Responsibilities:
• Work with the Director, Executive Search EMEA on internal and external executive recruitment, succession planning and market intelligence projects
• Attend internal client briefings
• Where relevant / appropriate, offer advice on roles
• Deliver regular status updates for clients
• Participate in candidate evaluation and selection process.
• Draft engaging job specifications that will attract quality candidates
• Where required, post internal and external adverts on Disney Careers / Linked In, etc
• Answer questions / requests, including from clients and internal candidates
• Create talent pipelines for future requirements
• Conduct research on Linked-in to identify suitable external candidates where appropriate
• Where appropriate, undertake initial pre-screening through both CV review and telephone screening as, exercising judgement on candidate suitability
• Help create the hiring strategy for the client, including identification of target organisations
• Keep accurate candidate details and ensure the global recruitment system, Kenexa and the Ascendify TRM is maintained at all times.
• Ensure data processes are adhered to and all records are in line with GDPR requirements
• Work with the Talent Acquisition team to promote The Walt Disney Company's employer brand using social media and other tools to generate interest in the company as a great place to work
• Maintain smooth flow of admin throughout the recruitment process e.g. communication to client, candidate, Compensation & Benefits etc.
• Responsible for quality and data integrity of all related recruitment information, including all offers of employment via GHRO
• Project work in conjunction with the Director of Executive Search
• Assist the EMEA Talent Acquisition team with ad hoc projects
• Maintain absolute discretion with regards to confidentiality
• Act as a trusted partner, assisting with the successful conclusion of recruitment assignments
• Ensure delivery of a service that is customer focused and value add
• Basic Qualifications:
• Specialist Executive Recruitment experience gained in an Executive Search Consultancy or In-house Executive Recruitment function
• Media / Entertainment or Consumer sector experience preferred
• Experience of undertaking research across multiple functions and roles
• International experience desirable
• Experience of large, multinational corporate organisations
• Ability to operate and navigate in an environment of change and ambiguity
• Educated to degree level
• Experience of using an Applicant Tracking system or similar, recruitment-focused software
• Knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter and other social recruiting platforms
• Strong familiarity with Boolean and X-Ray searching techniques
• Experience of managing multiple projects concurrently
• Excellent organisational skills
• Ability to priorities and multi task
• High level of attention to detail
• Excellent writing skills
• Ability to deliver to work under pressure and deliver to strict deadlines
• A passion to offer a real quality service
• Client and customer focussed, accustomed to working with multi-functional groups at all levels
• Proven ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals including candidates, colleagues and where appropriate, external suppliers
• Ability to work effectively in a service-driven, corporate environment
