Job Summary:
This critical coordination role provides support, facilitation and program management support for a large portfolio of learning experiences, talent management processes, talent development programs, employee survey and analytics, diversity and inclusion programs and support to a variety of change management related projects.
As a member of the global central team for Organization & Talent Solutions for Direct to Consumer International, this generalist role provides support to all of our global Organization & Talent Solutions teams globally and serves as main coordinator with other business segment and enterprise partners in the US to ensure delivery of integrated solutions.
Responsibilities:
Program Management
• Facilities and coordinates for a variety of programs and services (ex. learning and development programs; talent management initiatives; performance management programs, etc.)
• Provides reporting and analytics to provide updates and status of programs and initiatives and recommendations based on employee or leader feedback and evaluations.
• Serves as the liaison for the department between Org & Talent Solutions team and various Disney stakeholder groups (ex. HR Business Partners, Information Technology, Org Management, HR Systems, People Insights, external vendors, etc.) and escalates issues to Org & Talent Solutions leadership for prompt resolution.
Learning & Development:
• Provide support and coordination of local leadership programs in Burbank and coordination with our Regional Learning team in New York to ensure we are strategic in selection of talent for leadership development.
• Provide support and coordination with the implementation of orientation and leadership programs globally in our markets around the world (i.e. US/Canada, Latin America, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific).
• Serve as consultant to HRBPs for line of business training needs and provides recommendations of appropriate segment-wide solutions relevant for leadership development and/or brokers connection with Learning COE.
• Facilitation of entry level leadership programs and segment business orientation (as required)
Talent Management & Performance
• Provide lead coordination on the logistics and planning for talent management globally in partnership with HR Business Partners and Senior Manager, Learning & Development (i.e. coordinating talent planning meetings, talent profiles, updating talent data bases, managing talent and succession data and metrics).
• Provide support for performance management philosophy year-round and support HR Business Partners in the implementation and completion of year-end performance summaries in our enterprise system. Ensure alignment with Compensation teams for overall calendar of actions and pay for performance philosophy.
Organization Development:
• Provide support to Organization Development partners for transversal change related needs for the business (ex. change management tools, updating OD online tool site, providing recommendations for change related content, learning and other support to assist with clients)
Basic Qualifications:
• 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources; ideally in fields of talent and/or organization development
• Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities in rapidly changing environment
• Service orientation and ability to apply a consumer mindset to everything they do
• Team player and strong collaborator both within Org & Talent solutions team and DTCI HR as a whole
• Ability to project manage, drive work to deadlines and follow up on outstanding items
• Diplomatic posture in working across geographies, segments and HR functional teams
• Ability to work and navigate effective 'in the grey' in an evolving entrepreneurial environment
• Research skills, with the ability to condense and present information in a user friendly manner.
• High level of proficiency and creativity with Power point, Word & Excel
Required Education
• BA/BS in Human Resources, Business or related field and/or equivalent experience
