***Soft Skills we seek:
+ Interdisciplinary: meaning we all poses more than one strength across the scope of facility needs (i.e. our CTO is also our Senior Colorist, our Director of Content is also an authority in billing and data security, our Online Editor is also one of our content producers, etc.)
+ Clear Communicator: Context is incredibly important to us. Because of the large scope of innovation we put forward, teams could easily lose track of what hand is doing that impacts the other. We prioritize efficiency, but never at the cost of leaving anyone in the dark.
+ Endlessly Curious: While we respect the advancement being made outside of DFT, we know we have an incredibly gifted team of people in house who are and have built some of the most progressive M&E platforms in use on cutting edge shows. So we're constantly learning, building, breaking, battle testing and imagining new solutions for our client partners and do our best to remain brand and workflow agnostic.
***What we're looking for in this role (in addition to comfort with the above):
+ Desktop Support: Address support tickets relating to Mac OS and Windows based issues (Linux: Centos/Redhat/Ubuntu is a plus), installing and updating software and plugins (Adobe, Avid, Resolve/OFX), printer configurations and trouble shooting, LastPass, Outlook trouble shooting, Gmail support, VOIP phones, etc. Familiarity with ZoHoDesk is helpful, but less imperative than accountability in tracking projects to completion and supporting teams both in house and client related, including via remote sessions / AnyDesk, LogMeIn, etc.
+ Smart Hands: In support of our CTO and CISO who oversee our infrastructure and cloud based network security, and in partnership with our Director of Content & Media Security, this role serves as an extension of their efforts, including the set up of secure routers for remote configuration, resetting servers, migrating media, formatting and partitioning drives, preparing media or gear for client delivery, basic cabling support, trouble shooting speaker and monitor issues, physical movement and set up of gear like our remote review workstations (able to lift at least 50lbs and have a clean driving record).
+ Bridge Support: Our infrastructure team is an overlap of several individuals all aimed at supporting a complex network and creative infrastructure that leverages technology like Excelero - NVMesh, StorNext, Facilis, Terrablock, Avid, DaVinci Resolve, secure routers, custom PC configurations and Legacy Mac hacks. No single person is an absolute authority in all of these areas, but rather a collective team that contributes to our innovations. We're looking for someone as excited by new technology as they are in applying what they've learned from previous innovations. Not everyone will be a multi-hat in cyber security and architecting their own Linux workstation, but there's a sweet spot of familiarity that we're looking for in this role that can learn and grow with our unique team of super heroes.
If the above sounds like you and you're looking to join one of the strongest and most innovative teams in town, we'd love to hear from you!
