As a member of the Brand Marketing & Digital Strategy department, the Manager, Account Operations Content is an integral part of the team tasked with servicing the digital and social elements fully integrated revenue-based sponsorships for Valence's slate of music and entertainment properties with a focus on Dick Clark Productions' live programming.
The Manager is primarily responsible for overseeing the day to day execution of digital and social elements of paid partnerships leading up to, during and after events.
Responsibilities
• Report to and communicate daily with the Executive Director of Content Strategy and Operations
• Support Exec. Director across digital and social account duties to help maintain quality, accuracy and consistency with clients while also monitoring the balance between marketers' interests/goals and those of each specific dcp property (award show)
• Support each Account Executive in management of all digital and social client initiatives to ensure timely and successful delivery around all executions pre, during and post events
• Work closely with the creative team to ensure and oversee the execution of all digital and social assets tied to brand deals
• Work closely with the content strategy team to ensure all branded content initiatives align with companywide content strategy goals
• Support Account Executives in liaising with internal teams to ensure successful execution of client programs. Internal teams include, but are not limited to, brand strategy team, digital/social production, PR, legal and finance
• Support Account Executives in liaising with Valence divisions on cross functional client programs
• Manage freelancers and staff around each dcp event brought on to assist in the execution of the digital and social elements of a brand deal
• Create social content plans for brands that align with brand goals and internal company goals and then oversee the execution of said plans
• Write social copy that seamlessly aligns with both the brand and/or talent as well as the voice of the dcp property (award show)
• Manage the creation of custom websites and landing pages as well as the upkeep of all dcp websites
Requirements
• Has worked in live events, ideally with award show experience
• Experience overseeing employees and/or freelancers
• Social media native
• Familiarity with paid social media
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while delivering results
• Ability to work weekend days during events
• Motivated and passionate team player interested in working in a team environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience using Keynote
• Experience using WordPress
• Experience using Photoshop
• Knowledge of FTC rules and regulations as it pertains to social media and web
• Pop culture lover
• Must have a positive ''Can Do'' attitude
• Ability work well with others in a fast-paced environment
Experience and Education
• 1-2 years of proven work in social media or other relevant experience
• BA/BS degree required
