This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship
The company is in search of interns who are eager to learn about television production and what goes on behind the scenes, from the development and creative aspects to the marketing, promotion and distribution of the programs. If you have an energetic attitude, enjoy learning in a fast paced environment and would like to be exposed to one of the mentioned aspects of production, then we may have an internship for you.
The below described unpaid internships are available to applicants who are enrolled in an accredited collegiate institute. Applicants must be eligible to receive college credit for their participation.
Video Operations Intern
The Digital Media Department has internships available for detail-oriented students who pride themselves with great writing skills and have good knowledge and understanding of YouTube. You will learn everything there is to learn about YouTube and other Distributor CMS. You will assist and work closely with production staff to place content on the site to be seen by millions. If you are working towards a film/production major with special interest in post-production, this is an ideal internship for you!
Please note: Video Operations is not associated with physical production and therefore this internship does not involve any hands-on camera work or cinematography. This is a technical internship that will provide learning experience with online syndication of video files.
Social Media Intern
You will be exposed to internet research, metadata entries using our media library, will learn how to take in depth notes, rename digital files, work on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Google and other social media outlets as well as assist with day-to-day department assignments. You will learn how to manage YouTube channels and track media inventory lists. Interns will also participate in meetings that will give them insight on how strategies are implemented. A great opportunity for students with goals in the Social Media environment!
Website Intern
You will be able to learn from the day-to-day operations of the Digital Department. Interns will be exposed to how the department interacts with potential and new vendors, generates digital innovations around the company’s flagship shows as well as how the department develops original web programming. Great opportunity for students interested in the administrative side of new media!
Sponsorship Intern
Learn about sponsorship, on-site and digital brand integration and marketing in the entertainment industry with an internship in Sponsorship. As an intern, see firsthand how the department pitches company properties to clients by compiling research and information for the pitches. You will be exposed to the process of selling, negotiating and fulfilling the physical product integration. Interested students must be sharp, responsible and professional as you will have the opportunity to interact with brand partners. If you are bright, creative and insightful and are interested in the world of sales and sponsorship, we encourage you to submit your resume!
Production Intern
The Production Department is looking for interns with a strong interest in unscripted programming and who are familiar with pop culture. The right candidates will love the fast-paced, high-pressure environment. If you are passionate about production and want to experience the process of creating new shows, from conception to physical production, then you would be a great fit for this internship. You will be exposed to many phases of development and production such as pitch meetings, research, show bibles, casting, shooting and post production. If you have any knowledge of cameras, lighting, editing and writing then our internship is just right for you!
Development Intern
The Development Department is looking for students eager to dive right in and learn about television and film development. If you are a reliable student with a positive attitude, enjoy creative writing and researching and are very interested in learning about the storytelling aspect of scripted and reality programming, then you would fit right into this internship! You will learn about the administrative aspects of the Development Department and will definitely pick-up great people skills that will go with your friendly demeanor.
