Key Responsibilities:
• Manage colleagues by interviewing, hiring, and training; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Responsible for general facility maintenance including furniture, fixtures, and equipment throughout the facility.
• Perform regular ballpark inspections to identify projects that need to be completed.
• Determine if projects can be completed in-house or need to be outsourced, and ensure projects are scheduled to minimize conflicts with event schedule.
• Lead improvement projects to increase safety, efficiencies and capacity.
• Maintain a working knowledge of all operating systems.
• Compliance with all OSHA regulations and other government safety regulations.
• Coordinate seasonal shut down and startup of the facility.
• Work directly with Park Operations Director to assist in the maintenance, development and management of facilities' cleaning program.
• Work directly with Park Operations Director and facility engineers to maintain and develop facilities' MEP programs.
• Promote a consistence message as it relates to guest interaction/guest service.
• Manage budgets, inventories and purchasing activities.
• Create work orders and PM requests through our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Work with vendors and contractors in ordering of products and services as needed.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
• Other duties as needed and assigned.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Bachelor's degree in Facility/Recreation Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Four (4) years' experience in facility or property management or related field.
• Supervisory experience required. Experience working with skilled trades, unions and non-union staff preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Broad knowledge of materials, methods, tools and safety precautions involved in the operating facilities of large scale.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher), Photoshop, AutoCAD preferred and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.
• Must have working knowledge of facility management and operation techniques for a large multi-use complex.
• Knowledge of energy management and maintenance procedures and practices.
• Ability to work flexible hours including game events, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to work well and communicate effectively with others.
• Capability of moving around the facility for extended periods of time, including ascending and descending stairs
• Ability to physically operate mechanical equipment, such as forklifts and industrial vehicles
WORKING CONDITIONS:
• Outdoors and office environment.
• Position will need to work in various weather conditions.
• Position will be required to work evenings, weekends, holidays, etc.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and move with large bulking items.
• Will work with cleaning supplies and chemicals.
