As the marketing operations digital coordinator, you will play a meaningful role in the success of all Detroit Pistons digital initiatives across media, social, web, mobile and eSports.
This person will assist with strategy, content creation, execution and optimization for all Detroit Pistons platforms including Pistons GT, Pistons Dish, Pistons Academy, Motor City Rivals and the Motor City Cruise.
We are seeking for a team member with a positive, upbeat attitude that can connect with a diverse population!
What you'll be doing
• Support and collaborate with team members on marketing initiatives across multiple channels (digital marketing, web, ads, social, etc.)
• Successfully coordinate with the marketing team and stakeholders to ensure project objectives and expectations are met while adhering to project timelines
• Continuously review and update project tasks via Asana
• Lead paid digital campaigns across social, display and SEM
• Handle trafficking on TV and radio campaign creative
• Assist with the programming and scheduling of content for digital displays at Little Caesars Arena
• Assist with publishing of editorial, photo and video content to Pistons web properties
• Keep a constant pulse on trending topics and relevant cultural conversations to drive content creation for web, social and email campaigns
• Assist social team with content capture and publishing for non-Pistons events
• Lead tournament schedules and event pages for Motor City Rivals
• Build relationships with and collaborate with local influencers
• Assist with digital metrics for weekly executive reports
What we're looking for
• Bachelor's degree in Sports/Event Management, Public Relations or Communications
• Two years' experience with promotions in sports, entertainment and/or agency background
• Experience with social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and TikTok
• Strong project management and analytical skills
• Passion for discovering immerging technologies to drive business
• Candidate should possess excellent computer skills, excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, HTML and web site management and authoring technologies is preferred
