Game Operations Manager - Motor City Cruise

As the Game Operations Manager, you are responsible for the production and development of all Motor City Cruise home games and ancillary productions. Your job will be to coordinate, schedule, and script the live show. Responsibilities for this role also include managing game night interns, production staff including the public address announcer, and timeout coordinator. In addition, you will also facilitate the planning for elements to be used on game night and handle the day-to-day operations of the game night crew.

What you'll be doing
• Serve as game day/event manager; writing & producing scripts for all Motor City Cruise team functions
• Develop game day communication channels required to achieve successful results (i.e., pregame production meeting & pregame game night staff meeting to review game script & game duties)
• Ideate, develop, & coordinate partnership inventory within game presentation & special events to help go above and beyond expectations
• Booking and scheduling all talent for the National Anthem, half-times, in-game entertainment & events
• Collaborate with Community Relations, ticket sales & other departments
• Work closely with marketing to help bring the brand pillars to life encompassing & establishing an identity that resonates with our fan base across all sectors
• Handle internal relationships with vendors, facility, & affiliates
• Be responsible for all administrative requirements including budget, payroll, & contracts
What we're looking for
This position requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and experience with live event production. We value a teammate that can balance brand standards with innovation, is capable of multi-tasking while still maintaining a high level of integrity, and has a strong sense of creativity. Additionally, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is ideal.
