SUMMARY
As the Facilities Maintenance Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Facilities Maintenance Managers with the repairs and maintenance of the Pistons areas within Little Caesar's Arena (LCA) and the Pistons Performance Center (PPC).
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
• General repair and maintenance of Pistons Performance Center and Pistons areas at Little Caesar's Arena
• Coordination of vendor and contractor visits to Little Caesar's Arena
• Point of contact for arena's facilities & building services team at Little Caesar's Arena
• Landscaping and snow removal on property
• Support tenant spaces as required or needed by direction of Facilities Maintenance Managers
• Assists with operation of Building Automation Systems and Energy Management Systems and all facility infrastructure
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required, or equivalent work experience
• At least 1 year of experience working at large facilities
• Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays and travel between various properties
• Must be detail oriented with ability to manage time efficiently
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills and a drive to improve yourself and those around you
• Outstanding relationship-building skills combined with strong organizational skills with an addition to details and process
• May be required to qualify for and obtain a forklift and/or a Pistons motor vehicle permit
• Must be able to safely lift, push, pull, or tilt objects weighing up to 2500 lbs. with assistance
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time (up to but not limited to eight hours)
• Must have valid driver's license and automobile insurance
• Frequent need to utilize personal transportation to visit properties
