As the Assistant, Facilities Management, you will support the SVP, Facilities Management by providing administrative support and will fill in as needed to support our Facilities Management Department.
We are looking for a team member with a positive, upbeat attitude that can lead and connect with a diverse population!
What you'll be doing:
• Assist with coordinating vendors quotes, schedules, and logistics for services and projects
• Assist with managing Pistons Performance Center tenants
• Handle accounts receivables and payables for Facilities Management department
• Create and process purchase requisitions subject to approval guidelines
• Assist with scheduling and booking hospitality and meeting rooms at the Pistons Performance Center
• Assist with handling food and beverage ordering and invoicing processes
• Prepare presentations and proofread documents
• Assist in with running events at Pistons Performance Center, Little Caesars Arena and Motor City Cruise G-League Arena as needed
• Assist with coordinating special projects for Facilities Management Department
• Assist with handling office supplies and tracking
• Receive invoices and review for accuracy
What we're looking for:
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university, or bachelor's degree in progress
• Administrative experience preferred
• Confirmed organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Demonstrates a high degree of motivation, time management and attention to detail
