Full Time Job
Efilm is looking for a Senior Network Systems Engineer with some Systems Administrator skills, preferably with experience in Media and Entertainment. Efilm is a multi-faceted studio focused on theatrical feature film and trailer finishing,
feature dailies deliveries and film restoration.
Required Qualifications:
• Knowledge and experience configuring Brocade VCS fabric utilizing Brocade (ICX/VDX/Fiber Channel) switches and routers. CCIE and CCNA certifications a plus
• Experience administering firewall policy. Palo Alto and Checkpoint experience preferred
• Experience with VLANs, ACLs, VRFs, and VPNs
• Knowledge of Windows, Linux and OSX platforms
• Experience building and operating high availability / high throughput networks
• Knowledge of Identity Management and security access protocols
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a professional systems engineering environment
• Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Systems, Media/Technology or comparable professional experience
• Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills
• Ability and strong desire to learn new and unfamiliar technologies and products, independently using documentation and online resources
Additionally Desired:
• Microsoft Server and Active Directory experience
• Familiarity with SaltStack, Puppet, Logstash/Elastic helpful
• VMware, ESXi experience
• Storage Area Networks (SAN) experience: Stornext, CXFS
• Post-production software and hardware support including Autodesk Flame, Blackmagic Resolve, Filmlight, Foundry,
• Experience with archive and backup systems – Atempo ADA and tape libraries
Responsibilities
and Duties
• LAN/WAN administration functions for Infrastructure systems; management of switches, routers, WiFi, access control, firewalls, and sys log servers/utilities
• Maintain high-level security standards
• Regularly review and propose improvements to security
• Assist in administering servers and network services: AD, DNS, DHCP, SMB, NFS, SFTP, Aspera, etc.
• Document existing systems and new implementations
• Assist and/or architect upgrades and solutions
