We have an opening for a Project Coordinator. This position is located in Hollywood, CA.
Summary
The project coordinator will report to the Director of IT Business Applications. They will work with system integrators, finance and IT project team, business groups and IT resources to assist with the tracking, coordination, on- boarding of project resources. They will be updating activities in MS Project, managing project plans and mitigating risks to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of multiple projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage coordination of project timelines and budgets.
- Track project modifications and change orders.
- Ensure system integrators (SI) adherence to the Statement of Work (SOW).
- Notify project team of risks in a timely manner.
- Help communicate risks and mitigation strategies to upper management.
- Manage project Communications - Schedule and/or attend meetings and coordinate logistics as required. Publish Meeting Minutes as required.
- Update activities in MS Project and Manage communication of project plans to make sure all that are involved are on the same page.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly documents and/or reports for management/business review.
- Must be able to interact and communicate with people at all levels in the organization, including executive VP and C-level.
- Maintain and publish a master projects schedule.
- Coordinate resource on-boarding and roll-off.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field – CS preferred
- Microsoft Project experience
- Proficient in Excel, Visio, Outlook and Microsoft Word
- Detail-oriented and self-starter
- 2-5 yr Technical Project Coordinator or other relevant experience
- Experience with budgets and other financials
- Excellent oral and written communication & organizational skills
- Ability to work technical and non-technical/business resources
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Team player

- PMP Certification or project management training
- Knowledge and experience in SAP
- Experience in the media & entertainment industry
