Full Time Job
In this busy and demanding role, you will be working within the trailers/features mastering department and will be responsible for the creation of Digital Cinema Packages from the receipt of the distribution master elements, through to the completion of the finished package, including relevant quality checks where necessary.
You will be using industry standard and bespoke software to ensure that our clients' demands are satisfied within their timescales and to a high standard. You should be able to work as part of a team operating 24/7.
Main responsibilities
To deliver a high quality of service to both internal and external clients.
To coordinate a wide range of technical tasks including but not limited to:
-Preparation and encoding of DCDM elements
-Creation of 2D and 3D DCPs (including Atmos, Auro, HFR and Censorship Cuts)
-Technical QC of DCPs and related reporting
-Point of contact for complex and time sensitive issues
-Any other related duties as required
Creating all associated paperwork including but not limited to QC reports and master labels.
Feedback to account managers (and possibly directly to clients) where further information or detail is required.
Communicating, via phone, email and verbally with all appropriate departments regarding status of orders or any other relevant information.
Update the IT department on any issues that may affect operational efficiency. (e.g. equipment maintenance required)
Completion of ad-hoc project work as specified by your manager. Adhere to current policies and procedures relating to health and safety. Maintain an up to date knowledge of respective developments in film technologies. Act as an ambassador for the Company.
Experience required
Demonstrable experience of digital cinema mastering would be an advantage but not a necessity as full training will be provided.
The role will involve working with some of the latest digital cinema technologies including Clipster and Wailua. Familiarity of these or comparable systems would be desirable.
Successful candidates must be used to working to tight deadlines whilst producing high quality work. Experience within a similar post-production facility or digital cinema environment would be an asset.

Working hours
Shift Pattern: 2 x 12 hour days, 08:00 – 20:00 then 2 x 12 hour nights, 20.00 - 08.00 / 4 days off.
This includes weekends & all bank holidays.
