We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, talented and motivated Compositing Supervisor. This position will work closely with our CG Supervisor and VFX Producer in achieving the highest creative and technical standards of work.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise and mentor compositing team. -
• Creatively review all department deliverables. -
• Assist compositors and finalize shots as necessary. -
• QC all shots before delivery. -
• Create and enforce standardized nuke workflows and best practices. -
• Work with CG Supervisor to design and develop overall looks and subsequent templates. -
• Estimate time-lines with producer to ensure all deliveries are met. -
• Work with systems to resolve hardware and software issues. -
• Attend client reviews, offsite meetings and pitches. -
• Help with recruiting and participate in community events. -
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• A minimum of 10 years of episodic, or feature VFX compositing experience. -
• Excellent knowledge in all areas of Nuke. -
• Strong understanding of the Nuke 3D Environment and projection mapping. -
• Former supervisory experience is preferred. -
• Script writing skills is an asset.
