For decades, the De Laurentiis Company has produced daring film and TV projects, among them HANNIBAL (NBC), BLUE VELVET, and LA STRADA. This summer, come explore the development process as an intern at our office on the Universal lot. For a hungry newcomer, this internship is an ideal opportunity to shine.
We're a small and close-knit company, which has its advantages. You won't get lost in the shuffle here - or be relegated to making coffee because no one knows what to do with you. Since our development slate is evenly balanced between features and TV projects, this position is also a great opportunity for someone who isn't sure whether they'd prefer to work in film or TV (or who definitely wants to work in both).
Interns should be creative-minded and eager to learn, and must possess strong writing/communication skills. Activities will include reading/coverage, research, and phones, as well as your choice of a summer-long educational project.
This position is one day/week, unpaid, with college credit available. The summer session will run May 21st - Aug 24th.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree or working toward one.
