Position: Senior Associate Attorney to handle business and legal affairs related to development, production, financing and distribution of feature-length motion pictures for a leading and dynamic entertainment boutique firm that represents preeminent independent production, finance and distribution companies.
Experience: Ideal candidate has background in feature-related transactional work, including 2-3 years in a legal/business affairs role at an agency, studio, streamer or production company, or as an associate at an entertainment law firm.
Job Details: Draft, review and negotiate development and above-the-line production agreements -- including rights acquisition and talent agreements (actor, writer, director and producer) -- and financing and distribution agreements.
Minimum Qualifications:
• High proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Dropbox and Internet research
• Superior oral and written communication skills
• Self-starter with ability to easily manage multiple, constantly changing, high-priority tasks
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong drafting, organizational and time management skills
• Substantial interest in feature-length motion pictures
