We are accepting applicants to work as part of the Accounting Department. This internship will assist with your studies and gain field experience while in school or if you just graduated. The goal of the position is to work with projects for film and /or television. Candidates should have a passion for entertainment. Veterans with a degree in Accounting are encouraged to apply. A desire to obtain a CPA license is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in research, analysis, and financial reports.
- Work with budgets and forecasts
- Assist in process improvement initiatives
- Assist in the revenues, expenses, and financial plannings
Requirements:
- Enrolled in college or university towards an Accounting Degree, those recently graduated may also apply
- Candidate will pursue to get a CPA license upon graduation
- Familiarity with basic accounting, standard accounting principles, and financial reporting
- Knowledge of rules, laws, and regulations pertaining to the State of California
- Knowledge of payroll, taxes, union and their guild's rules and regulations
- Previous accounting jobs or internships experience is preferred
- Attention to detail, and a desired to work in the entertainment industry
