Human Resources Director - Generalist

The Dallas Mavericks is currently seeking a Human Resources Director - Generalist.

A successful applicant will have extensive experience in carrying out responsibilities in the following functional areas: departmental development, employee relations, training and development, compensation, organizational development, and employment.

The Human Resources Director - Generalist must have a solid skill set in originating and leading HR practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards.

Summary of Position Responsibility:  

Leads many of the functions and activities related employees, program development and administration, policy development and administration, employee training and development, compensation plan development and administration, performance appraisal, succession planning, organizational design, recordkeeping, worker's compensation issues and employment relations and counseling.

Required Qualifications:

Preferred degree in Human Resources or related field.  At least five years of work experience in Human Resources providing generalist client support. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, mentoring ability, and capable of working in a fast paced and unique environment.
