Full Time Job
The Dallas Mavericks are seeking driven and positive individual who is committed to becoming a sports and entertainment sales leader with previous group sales experience.
Reports to: Vice President, Ticket Sales and Service
Essential Duties and Primary Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the performance of Group Sales Team, including annual performance evaluations, approving timesheets and training
• Responsible to know all aspects of group products (Groups, Fan Experiences, Group Manager/Promo Codes, Suites, Birthday's, etc.)
• Create new group programs and events that increase sales opportunities and overall group tickets/revenue
• Create memorable events for group leaders and their attendees
• Responsible for the management, supervision, and execution of group sales activities within the tickets sales department and throughout the organization
• Work with the Marketing and Social Media team to have the most up-to-date group sales content listed on the company website and social media
• Provide superior and professional customer service to clients
• Perform game day responsibilities, including entertaining clients and fulfill large group events. This would include working nights, weekends and holidays
• Responsible for reports to Accounting, Game Operation, Managers, COC staff, etc.
• Occasionally, represent the organization at off-site Dallas Mavericks events promoting ticket sales
• Hire, train, develop and motivate sales reps
• Maintain computerized records of all group ticket customers and prospects with our CRM system (Salesforce)
• Meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by Vice President, Ticket Sales and Service
• Group Sales Team sells full menu

• Ability to present sales material to potential clients
• The ability to learn and master new software programs including the CRM platform (Salesforce) and ticketing system (Ticketmaster Archtics) is essential.
• Detail-oriented; ability to handle several projects at once
Required Skills
/Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sports Management, Marketing or related field or equivalent, related sales experience
• At least 3 years of ticket sales experience with either a professional or collegiate sports team (highly preferred)
• A consistent track record in relationship building and networking skills with ability to interact effectively and professionally
• Proficiency in basic computer software programs, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
