We are on a mission to make family time more valuable, while empowering creators to get paid to share their passions. Our team has worked at places like Netflix, YouTube, Houzz and Yelp. The company has been featured by CNN and NBC News.
We are looking for an A+ marketing leader to define and implement our marketing and growth programs, taking full ownership of our online presence and customer acquisition. This person will play a critical role in driving substantial growth in our creators, customers, and revenue as we continue our rapid growth. This role is highly strategic but will also require hands on execution, managing, coaching, and growing our marketing team. This role is part of our executive team and reports directly to the CEO.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and own the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for new products & features
Define target audiences, develop marketing and communication strategies, and measure adoption
Ideate and execute experiments across consumer touchpoints to improve baseline conversion, retention and reactivation rates
Identify opportunities to increase customer conversion, product retention and reactivation
Conduct customer research and apply your insights to these and other initiatives
Drive the evolution of our brand positioning, bringing it to life in a clear and consistent way that resonates with and motivates our target audiences
Promote the company as an innovator to the press and public and oversee outbound customer-facing communications across our website, blog, and social channels
Collaborate and lead across the organization, representing the voice of the customer within the organization, bringing your insights to cross-functional stakeholders across product, design, user experience, engineering, and executive leadership
Build a marketing department by identifying talent needs, hiring and managing a high-performing integrated marketing team.
Test new marketing strategies outside of the direct paid marketing channel - loyalty programs, community-building, PR, social media, virality, content strategy, offline, etc.
Build a vision for customer lifecycle phases in order to develop programs to drive measurable incremental growth, engagement to improve customer relationships
Requirements:
Demonstrable experience developing and executing go-to-market plans for consumer platforms, including targeted paid advertising, online and offline events, and content marketing
A self-starter, organized and self-motivated with the ability to define goals and prioritize your work
Strong analytical and writing skills, comfortable with data and analytics, and can clearly communicate your results and ideas into actionable conclusions
Demonstrated track-record in developing and executing successful A/B tests, analyzing and translating data into business and consumer insights
Proficient with segmentation, reporting, and how to use data to drive business decisions
Operate as a strong project manager
Qualifications:
MBA degree in marketing, business, communication or other related field or equivalent experience
5+ years relevant work experience in online marketing in a B2C capacity
5+ years' experience building and managing digital promotional
Marketplaces, creator economy, gig economy, kids entertainment, livestreaming, subscription experience (preferred)
Compensation: competitive salary, benefits, and significant equity package.
Location: Pasadena
Position will start off remote, but will transition to in-person in the Fall of this year.
