A small Boutique Talent Firm, re-extending it's presence in the Atlanta market, is offering a part time talent representative position to join and experience our strong team. We're looking for a a self starter who desires to gain familiarity and expertise within the entertainment industry as well as those who have a true desire to work behind the scenes.
Candidate will assist with the career architecture of our talent and will have guided step by step involvement surrounding the business acumen of the entertainment industry. You'll be working in a small team to grow as a South Eastern Division point of contact. Attention to detail is a must as well as proper time management with great computer, phone, and people skills. Ideal candidates have an excellent educational background and/or currently enrolled in an undergraduate/graduate degree. Commitment of 2-4 days a week under flexible terms but must be willing to monitor email consistently and respond accordingly and promptly when needed.
Essential Duties:
• Submitting via Breakdowns, LAC/CN
• Client Marketing
• Audition scheduling/appointments
• Press Release Development
• Actor/Client Calendar management
• Interactions with client and agents
• Research industry trends
• Assist with audition Self-Taping
• IMDb updates/maintenance
Required Skills:
• Independent self starter
• Reliable, responsible, diligent, and punctual
• Tech-savvy
• Time Management
• Networking (Industry events (i.e workshops))
Firm will provide proper infrastructure to the assistant including work space/overhead and Telecommuting negotiable. Most of all, we are looking for someone who is looking to start a career and grow within the company, providing input for key decisions. Longer/Ongoing term preferred
Previous working relationship with talent agents, managers, casting directors, or producers also a Plus
