A boutique Talent Management Firm is aiming to find a part-time/seasonal assistant to join our team. We're looking for a self starter with a desire to gain expertise within the entertainment industry working behind the scenes.
Attention to detail is a must as well as proper time management with great computer, phone, and people skills. Ideal candidates have an excellent educational background and/or currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program. Commitment of 2-3 days a week (2-4hrs/day) under flexible terms but must be willing to monitor email ongoing and respond accordingly/promptly when needed.
Essential Duties:
- Industry Research and Trends
- Coordination with Talent Agents
- Desk Coverage
- Client/Actor Auditing, Management, and Research
- Interactions with clients and agents
- Scheduling/appointments
- Assist with Selftapes/Reader in our in-house studio
Additional Industry Training if assistant desires:
- Submitting via Breakdowns, LAC/CN
- Rolling calls
- Audition scheduling/appointments
- Actor/Client Calendar management
- IMDb updates/maintenance
- Networking (Industry events (i.e workshops))
Would prefer an availability for 2 - 3 days for boot camp unpaid training in December or early to mid January (in prep of Pilot Season 2020). This will serve as a seasonal position from January to April 2020, with the position ongoing in following seasons based on candidates availability.
Firm will provide proper infrastructure to the assistant including work space/overhead. Hands on learning experience in a incubator/development office environment. Telecommuting available/negotiable. Seasonal to ongoing part-time paid track available. Some travel may be needed (<10%)
