Crystal Cruises LLC is looking for skilled Lighting Technicians to work in our show lounges and entertainment venues onboard our luxurious cruise ships.
Responsibilities:
Programming and operating lighting consoles in main show room, secondary show room, and other entertainment venues around the ship.
Maintenance of the theatrical lighting systems in the main show room, secondary show room, and other entertainment venues around the ship.
Responsible for operating video playback equipment for live shows/presentations in main room; and other entertainment venues as needed.
Operation of show control system in the main room.
Lecture/Presentation set up and operation in main show room and assist as required with presentations in other venues around the ship.
Entertainment venues will house a variety of shows, lectures, events and activities throughout each cruise and will require tech support accordingly.
Requirements:
3 years experience in programming and operating for live performances using conventional lighting fixtures and moving lighting fixtures.
Familiarity with ETC lighting boards (GIO and ION) an asset, but not a requirement.
Knowledge and experience with operating video systems: matrix/switchers, projectors, cameras, video wall, etc.
Knowledge and experience with video content management and playback: Q-Lab, PP, Keynote, and media players.
Contract Length: 4-6 months
*All shipboard employees will be required to have STCW training prior to joining the ship
