RECEPTIONIST
Critical Content, the award-winning producer of unscripted and scripted television content, is seeking a dynamic Receptionist to support the Critical Content Burbank office. This is a great position for a driven and motivated Receptionist candidate with a passion for working in television production and programming. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact and involved in many areas of facilities operations.
Responsible for handling daily receptionist functions, including, but not limited to:
Front Desk:
• Greet visitors and vendors from 8:00am to 6:00pm (Monday - Friday)
• Responsible for answering all incoming calls and transferring to the appropriate employee
• Validating parking and tracking
• Assist and maintain conference room calendars
• Receive and sign for deliveries; sort mail daily; arrange for couriers service when needed
• Notify employee of packages; responsible to ensure pickup of items
Facilities:
• Office supply maintenance
• Tracking/ordering key cards
• Order/replenish and stock office supplies (weekly)
• Order/replenish and stock snacks and groceries
• Coordinate catering requests and set up/clean corporate or client/vendor events and presentations
• Daily load and unload dishwasher
• Daily cleaning and brewing of coffee machine
• General reception, kitchen and conference room upkeep; maintain orderliness and cleanliness daily
• Other responsibilities as assigned
Onboarding:
• Assist Facilities manager with new employee badge creation
• Assist Facilities manager with parking/building coordination for new employees and offboarding including deactivating key cards/building access
Qualifications:
• Energy, enthusiasm and a team player
• Proactive and ambitious
• Willing to take responsibility for getting things done
• Associate or equivalent related work experience required.
• Minimum 1-2 years of receptionist/office coordinator work-related experience required, preferably within a high-paced agency,
network or TV production environment.
• Must possess demonstrated ability to take direction, follow through on tasks with minimal additional direction and be resourceful, self-
driven, and able to prioritize.
• Must have a proven meticulous attention to detail in daily work habits.
