COMPANY OVERVIEW: Crimson Studios Group is located in the heart of Chatsworth, CA, within the 30-mile industry zone. With 5 sound stages and dozens of support rooms, we provide a unique space for any film or television production. As a full-service studio, we offer onsite audio, video, lighting, and editing departments. Our studio technicians provide each production with a personalized and professional experience. CSG uses only state-of-the-art audio, video, and lighting, along with live production and streaming capabilities, making it simple to turn a professional product.
POSITION: Crimson Studios Group seeks a Studio Manager, Studio Operations for their 104k sq ft facility in Chatsworth, CA. The individual in this position will work closely with the president to manage daily operations of the facility and will oversee all incoming productions; serving as the studio's point person and client liaison in all matters relating to the coordination and support of all in-house productions and events. The primary responsibility is to facilitate and ensure the smooth execution of feature, television series, and commercial productions.
Additional requirements include scheduling and coordination of daily production needs for all clients s, coordinate all studio parking needs, securing vendors, facilitating/ordering/invoicing all G&E and lighting equipment ads requested by clients, confirm AR/AP between production and studio, schedule and walk all scouts/surveys for future productions, technical scouts, checking and confirming sound stages and exterior set readiness for production's occupancy, oversight and supervision of all studio personnel, interfacing with all studio departments to provide clients with easy transition in and out of facility as well as production days. Daily communication with president are crucial to the success of this position. This position requires heavy administrative support for not only all studio departments but all C-Level members.
What do we require from a candidate?
-Bachelor's degree preferred
-Min. 5 years experience in film or television production or production facility operations (preferred)
-Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Quickbooks
-Must be able to operate standard office equipment such as fax machines and photocopying equipment
-Excellent oral and written communication skills
