Please note: Hours in office will vary depending on the studio's schedule, and there may be occasional early morning and possibly weekend hours.
About Our Company
Creative Media Design is a boutique voice over casting/recording studio, audio post-production house and podcast studio in NYC. We work on a number of voice over projects for film, TV, radio and digital media for various clients both domestically and internationally. Our office is professional and well-organized, though very creative and good-natured. Our team works hard and has fun delivering high-quality products working with time sensitive deadlines.
Critical Behaviors & Qualifications
We're looking for a positive and enthusiastic team player who has the ability to multitask while working with a sense of urgency. Proficiency in Mac OS X, Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), Google G-Suite Apps, and an overall strong knowledge of computer software is essential. Work in Photoshop, Web Design and FTP client experience is a plus. This is an extremely detail-oriented position that calls for someone who is resourceful and highly organized. Administration and production experience is required.
Head of Production/Business Development
Prepare quotes for larger and more complex project requests from existing clientele as well as prospective clients (in depth knowledge of recording, mixing, creative producing, budgeting, etc.)
Ability to delegate less complex project requests and scheduling to staff
Strong communication skills to set expectations with Clients about process/delivery and ensure file delivery
Knowledge of Union vs non-union protocol and requirements and ability to articulate to clients and talent
Experience and knowledge in Contract negotiation/Talent releases
Proficient in discussing creative direction, special pricing/timing, etc. with Engineers each morning for daily review
Quickbooks knowledge preferred (Client Invoicing and Vendor Payment)/ Work with Accountant
Track team's vacation requests, days off and handle personnel issues
Other general responsibilities that come with managing a studio
Ability to work independently
The ideal candidate would have existing business relationships they could transition to CMD
Effective in communicating to President/Owner (Suggestions, ideas, thoughts, concerns, observations)
