Convergence Entertainment is a film and television development and production company based in Los Angeles. The company primarily focuses on international co-productions and serves as a strategic partner to several Asian based media companies. It also currently represents internationally acclaimed writers and directors as part of its management roster.
We are looking for a highly motivated candidate who can commit 1-2 days a week for a hands-on film and television development experience to start as soon as possible.
Intern responsibilities may include but not limited to:
- Read scripts/books/comic books
- Write coverage
- Provide ideas and feedbacks to be part of the creative development process
- Handle phone calls
- Conduct research for projects
- General office duties
Great for anyone who is interested in independent film and television development, adaptation of comic books, animations, and video games, international film and television markets, and international co-productions.
Prior experience of any kind in film and television is a plus.
Chinese or Japanese bilingual is a big plus.
The position is unpaid.
