Seeking: Videographer and Editor familiar with standard variety of lights and cameras from DSLR to Canon C300 mkiii level of experience, with fluency in Adobe Premiere Pro and basic audio recording equipment experience (booming, condenser, lavalier, ZOOM Recorders etc. Compensation is salary DOE.
This is a celebrity client with a web and short-form-content production team. We are looking for a video creator that can wear a few different hats in producing content for youtube and beyond. A typical week for the right hire would be 1-3 days of shooting content in person with gear similar to what is listed above, and editing throughout the remainder of the week. This would include setting up cameras, lights, and audio before the shoot and packing it back and resetting the studio at the end of the day. Ideally this person is also familiar with basic editing on Adobe Premiere Pro, photoshop, and After Effects to finish the material for web publication (no vfx besides simple text and graphics animation).
The ideal candidate would have a good understanding of the following equipment and software:
-DSLR and Consumer Cinema Cameras and Lens (Panasonic GH4, Canon C300, Canon 5d, Sony fs7 etc)
-Continuous lighting and Grip (Skypanel, Aputure, basic LED, C-stands, combo stands etc)
-Zoom recorders and on-camera audio input (Rode shotguns, lavaliers, condenser mics, etc)
-Basic camera rigging (tripods, shoulder rigs, monopod, flycam, ipad teleprompter etc)
-Software in the adobe suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects)
-Familiarity with YouTube/Vimeo publishing and review collaboration. Video codecs and basic codecs for rendering.
-Google Drive suite (drive, docs, sheets, calendar)
-External hard drive organization and footage backup
-Social Media output. Familiarity with crops and time constraints across platforms.
This is a very dynamic job that leans heavily on web content, but also organically branches into other forms of production from documentary, to TV format content. Our team is bright, fun, and not too big. We work closely together and often quickly and spontaneously. Someone who is intuitive and confident will fit well into our team.
If you fit the above criteria we would LOVE to speak with you and see some of your portfolio. We are looking to hire as soon as possible to begin onboarding you with the crew! Thank you and we look forward to your submission.
