Feature film looking for freelance VFX Coordinator in San Francisco.
Only candidates that have at least 1 year of Visual Effects Production Coordination experience will be considered.
Primary Duties:
- Asset Retention: Manage archiving, distribution and retrieval of all materials and assets for productions.
- Management of production assets and notes: the ability to understand and distill notes from internal producers and external studios, filing, distribution and tracking.
- Organization: create and maintain up-to-date production files and digital project folders, organize and manage production assets
- Attend creative, production and strategic planning meetings, extensive note taking, distribution and tracking of notes to appropriate parties
- Manage follow-up meetings and provide assets to necessary parties
- Research and presentation: Research and assist with presentations to be conducted on an as-needed basis
- General production support: Support VFX Producer and VFX Production Supervisors in all aspects of production as needed
Experience, Knowledge, Skills Required:
- Animation series production experience required or similar environment.
- Understanding all stages of VFX production pipelines for feature films.
- Experience working with VFX vendors.
- Good communication skills, especially written.
- Must be extremely organized, a fast learner, a critical thinker, professional, efficient, detail oriented, self-sufficient, a team player, passionate about entertainment, and able to thrive and multi-task in a fast-paced, stressful environment.
Proficiency with Shotgun, Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint), and Aspera are required).
Be confident, friendly and outgoing. Ability to deal with and resolve conflict with a capacity for suggesting well-reasoned solutions is essential. Should enjoy working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This is a great opportunity for learning and growth in production experience.
