DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking experienced writers with a strong background in serialized storytelling to join our slate of vertical drama projects. These projects are designed for mobile-first audiences and feature fast-paced, emotionally engaging narratives delivered in short-form episodes (1-1.5 minutes each).
Responsibilities:
• Develop compelling short-form scripts that drive binge-worthy engagement.
• Build strong characters and cliffhanger-driven story arcs that sustain multi-episode runs.
• Collaborate with producers and development executives to refine pitches, outlines, and scripts.
• Adapt to the unique demands of vertical video storytelling: fast pacing, episodic hooks, visual-first writing.
Qualifications:
• Demonstrated experience in vertical drama writing (samples required).
• Strong grasp of episodic structure and character development.
• Ability to work under deadlines and incorporate feedback.
• Prior experience writing for mobile-first platforms.
• Interest in romance a plus.
• Non-union writers.
