Established talent agency is seeking a talent payment coordinator to join our Accounting department.
This is an entry-level role with great opportunity for advancement and growth within the department.
Responsibilities include:
-- Processing talent payments for clients
-- Preparing invoices as needed
--Interacting with clients and producers
--Solving payment issues and problems
--Learning commercial contract codes
--Working on various projects that aid in the overall operations of the agency
Must be able to meet deadlines in fast-paced environment.
Experience with accounting/business affairs for an entertainment company (studio, agency, union, production company, etc.) strongly preferred.
Qualifications:
AA or BA in Accounting or Finance (a plus but not required), or 2 years equivalent experience
Proficiency in MS Word/Excel/Outlook and 10 key
Proficiency in Talent Pro/inentertainment
Comfortable screening calls
Multi-tasking & prioritizing urgent issues effectively
This position will start out as a part time position, but could turn into a full time position.
Salary
Hourly rate will depend on experience. Benefits will be available when position turns full time.
