We are a successful bi-coastal talent agency with multiple offices. Our company has a stellar reputation for over 10 years.
Looking for a candidate with a minimum of 2 years basic accounting and AR / AP experience. Must be detailed-oriented, able to multi-task, ask questions, dependable, reliable and friendly. Must be able to make phone calls to clients and follow-up on outstanding invoices. If you don't have at least 2 years of AR / AP or accounting experience, your resume will not be reviewed.
This is a full-time position, but we are flexible on a part time schedule as well.
Summary of Job Responsibilities:
• Prepare invoices to submit to client
• Follow-up on past due invoices (via phone call and e-mail)
• Pay attention to detail as certain clients require special billing
• Filing
• Answering phone calls and questions related to open invoices
• Interact with clients, CD's, production, etc...
Ideal Candidate will possess the following:
• A minimum of 2 years of AR / AP or accounting experience
• Ability to communicate well with others (internal and external)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Quickbooks
• Ability to ask questions
This is a non-exempt position paying between $15.00 and $17.00 per hour (depending on experience). Some overtime may be required from time to time. Benefits include:
• 2 weeks paid vacation (and usually closed as company paid holiday between Christmas and New Years)
• 6 sick days
