Successful New York talent agency specializing in celebrity and non-celebrity voiceovers and endorsements seeks focused, organized and responsible talent payment coordinator/bookkeeper familiar with the SAG-AFTRA commercial code. Candidate must have experience in the accounting or business affairs department of a talent agency or within a talent payment service company. Strong Interpersonal skills are essential.
*Building strong relationships with our actors and business affairs departments throughout the country
*Assessing accuracy of session and residual checks
*Processing checks in agency's accounting program (InEntertainment)
*Tracking and pursuing late payments
*Invoicing (minimal amount)
*Sending renegotiation letters
*Sorting and scanning checks into software
*Balancing talent payment report with each check run
*Clearing checks in InEntertainment
*Must be proficient with Mac computers (Apple Mail, Word, minimal Excel)
