This is a posting looking for a Manager of Actors. Do not submit unless you are interested in Talent Management of Actors and have experience in the field of representation.
Please read this entire posting before submitting. Please do not copy and paste a cover letter. Please tell us a bit about your background and interest as it relates to this specific job. Why are you interested in managing actors?
An established Talent Management Company is looking to grow our Talent Department by adding an experienced Talent Manager in a Commission-Only (with generous splits) position. Do not apply if Commission-Only does not work for you.
If you have worked as a Talent Agent, Talent Manager, or have at least a year of experience in a support capacity in talent representation, this is an appropriate job to which you can apply. Someone with a current roster and network of contacts is a plus.
You will work on behalf of some of our clients which we will assign to you, as well as any clients you bring with you, and any clients you bring in while you are with the company.
The company is run by a manager with 13 years experience, supported by an emeritus partner with 18 years in talent management and 40 years as an Executive Producer. We rep known Celebrities, Multiple Series Regular Actors, Studio Feature Actors, etc. We are a small but successful company with great ambitions to grow.
Our plan is to bring you in with a generous commission split, provide you with excellent, money-making clients, and work together with you to grow you with the company. You will be promoted, rewarded, and paid in kind with our mutual success.
It will be our goal to, over the years of our mutual prosperity, move from a model in which you have a separate / semi-separate list, to a model where we all work together in a more collective, mutually-dependent manner in which each manager has autonomy and ownership in the success of the company.
Again, please do not apply if working on a commission-only (with generous splits) basis does not work for you.
