Please send a cover letter specifically explaining your interest in Talent Management. Please do not cut and paste a form cover letter. We have a strong preference to hire someone with a long-term interest in talent management.
This is a primarily commission-based full time job as a Talent Coordinator, with a mind toward eventually promoting you to Jr. Manager.
We are a small but successful talent management company. We represent studio feature stars, film festival feature leads, television series regulars and recurring guest stars... etc. We are constantly growing.
You will be paid by receiving a part-time minimum wage salary, supplemented by a bonus at the end of the month of, for example, 10% of the company earnings. You will receive advancement within the company and increase of your percentages in direct proportion to the amount of value you add. Promotions and bonuses will always be given as earned. Please note, we prefer you not apply for this job if you are not comfortable with your income primarily being based on commission.
Once you are fully trained, a mobile work environment and flexible schedule can be offered.
You will work submitting actors for roles in television and movies, identifying exciting pitches for our clients, sending audition emails, directing a few phone calls, etc. There is a lot of room for growth and promotion within the company, once you have shown mastery of the work required of a Talent Coordinator.
We have a strong preference to hire someone with a long-term interest in talent management. We have a company mandate to promote from within, from Assistant, to Talent Coordinator, to Junior Manager, to Manager… maybe eventually to Partner.
We will ask of our employee a commitment of at least a year.
Please note that talent management is a commission-based job, and that any promotions received in the future will primarily receive remuneration via commission. Talent Management is a grueling sales job, requiring diligence and repetition, and earning income based on commission can yield incredible results, as well as slow times. So, please make sure that you understand this and are interested in this type of work before applying.
