We are looking for a social media and music enthusiast to support our digital team. The position is based in our office in Los Angeles but you will be reporting to both the Digital Creative Director in London and directly to the President of the company in Los Angeles. You will be a key member of the team supporting in the development and delivery of the digital marketing strategy for a variety of acts across the roster.
As this is a Los Angeles based role, led by the team in London, a certain level of independent working will be required during main Pacific Time working hours. You will need to take initiative and may be required to make independent decisions in absence of the creative director out of UK working hours. You will be organized, have exceptional written skills and a keen eye for detail. You have an intermediate Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro experience and are able to edit videos and images for socials. You will ideally have a contact list of freelancers who can do more complicated design and video work.
Duties include:
Planning:
• Creating and maintaining social media calendars for clients.
• Ensuring the most accurate and up to date information is available to artists and managers. • Liaising with management, agents, promoters, and artists' record label.
• Keeping a clean and updated Dropbox for every client for easy reference to you and your co- workers.
• Record weekly stats across social networks, taking note of any major changes in interactions or following
• Compile weekly or monthly social growth reports for clients and send to their teams.
• Keeping on top of TikTok trends and reporting/highlighting key trends
Distribution of content:
• Posting on various social media platforms ensuring all handles and tags are correct and content is formatted correctly for each platform.
• Copy artists' posts across platforms, making sure all links and handles are adapted.
• Keeping clients' Songkick, Bandsintown and website updated.
• Being familiar with Apple Music for Artists and Spotify for Artists.
• Being familiar with YouTube Community, YouTube Stories, Google Posts, Facebook Stories and updating them on a weekly basis.
Client management:
• Getting approval from clients via WhatsApp groups
• Monitoring posts closely for comments/sentiment and advising clients on when to engage with their fanbase
