Seeking a full time in-house social media and community specialist to work on the fantasy franchise account for a major entertainment client. Will develop and manage a strong franchise voice and nurture relationships with our communities. The ideal candidate will offer a unique blend of creative instincts, social media marketing aptitude, and deep understanding of how to interact with a large fandom.
- Responsibilities
-Intimately get to know the fan community for the franchise.
-Authentically communicate with the franchise's online community.
-Nurture relationships with key leaders within the community.
-Manage social media accounts including scheduling, trouble shooting, and monitoring posts.
-Spot opportunities to engage in relevant social conversations and build relationships in real-time.
-Engage with other ambassadors, partners, potential partners and influencers on social channels, as well as seek out and develop new and emerging platforms that can help grow the franchise's fandom.
-Enforce the Social Media Guidelines as defined by the clients' brand and ensure consistent branding.
-Work with the team to create original, high-quality content across all relevant social media communities.
-Ideate best-in-class innovative strategies, leveraging both established and emerging platforms that drive engagement and advocacy for the franchise.
-Work collaboratively with the internal team as well as the client's team.
- Required Qualifications
- -Degree in relevant field is welcomed but knowledge and experience is paramount.?
-3+ years of experience managing social media platforms and social media communities.?
-Have a deep understanding of communities and be interested in fostering an ongoing relationship on behalf of a brand.?
-Ability to work independently but also a team player who can collaborate.?
-Excellent copywriting skills, with ability to integrate strategic considerations like CTAs and shift voice as needed.
-Understands how to interact with executives as well as they interact with a social community.
-Experience working on entertainment accounts is a plus.
-Social listening software experience a bonus.
