Luxury Fashion & Lifestyle PR & Communications Agency is looking for a Senior Account Manager to join the agency's Los Angeles office, working across various fashion and lifestyle clients.
The Senior Account Manager will play an essential role within the LA office, supporting in the development and execution of client's strategies: this individual needs to have an experience in generating maximum brand exposure through creative product placement, profile features, launches., integrated media/event/influencer campaigns.
The candidate must have an inquisitive mind into what is happening in today's culture, genuine passion for developing brands, using true initiative to achieve exceptional result. Impeccable client liaison skills and an established network of strong media contacts and relationships are essential and will serve as a mentor, manager, and lead example for all account teams on client management, results, staff development and strategic guidance.
Key responsibilities:
This position's responsibilities would include increasing awareness for all brands assigned to them. In this role the Senior Account Manager will promote the different clients in all activities, campaigns, special projects, shows, presentations and events to the media and to develop and maintain relationships with key journalists and media within your assigned and designated market, acting as an ambassador for Negri Firman PR & Communications.
• Proactively builds and implements strategy for clients
• Develop close working relationships with clients on day-to-day matters, attend client meetings, draft agendas, and take responsibility for the completion of contact reports.
• Increase an in-depth understanding of client business, markets, trend reports and issues affecting them to identify potential issues and opportunities on behalf of clients.
• Draft press releases, photo-call notices, invitations, features, collating press packs, status reports, and contribution to proposals, for approval by Account Director.
• Expand on excellent press contacts in areas relevant to client activity. Liaise on forthcoming features and take a pro-active role in selling ideas and promotions.
• Consistently produce high quality internal and external communications content
• Manage and motivate other members of the team to ensure day to day operations run smoothly and PR results are delivered, while supporting them in their growth to the next level.
• Liaise with suppliers, organizing design and artwork, photography, print, research and booking venues/catering for all client events.
• Assist in the arrangement of press briefings, photo calls and other events as necessary.
• Increase an awareness of fees, budgeting and expenses. Understand budgets allocated by client for projects and ensure these are never exceeded.
• Collaborate with global office and project teams as necessary to seamlessly integrate cultural programming into project strategy and schedule and ensure successful execution of press and social media campaigns, special events, collaborations, and/or other deliverables
• Keep Senior members informed of all developments relating to client work and discuss issues/solutions with the senior account team.
• Liaising with NYC and Milan offices to work across shared accounts (where relevant)
Skills and qualities required:
• 4-6 years of fashion/VIP public relations experience at a PR agency
• Knowledge of key stylist, publicists, managers, and influencer contacts
• Proven track record of dressing celebrities, a database of top stylists, influencers, and socials.
• Ability to be very nimble and work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Integrated communications campaign conception beyond traditional media
• Articulates ideas succinctly and is comfortable with public speaking and presentations
• Superior high-level media contacts across broadcast, print and online media
• A ''proactive'' attitude and team mentality and experience leading a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional problem-resolution skills, including the ability to think creatively and outside the box
