The Role
National recording artist who performs 100 live shows a year around the United States is looking for a highly motivated, music loving individual to support his team. You will work closely with the Head of Business and Operations and will gain valuable experience in the music industry.
Responsibilities
• Act as a first point of contact for incoming leads and assess viability for potential follow-up
• Assist Head of Business and Operations with new client sales
• Prospecting - research resources to acquire new leads, make cold calls
• Manage incoming contacts and data
• File and maintain all client contracts
• Maintain accurate sales pipeline, track key metrics and results, and create monthly sales reports
• Schedule meetings and update calendars
• Serve as liaison between executive and other departments where needed
• Ensure timely preparation and delivery of proposals and contracts
• Manage sales collateral and marketing materials
• Demonstrate good judgement and discretion related to confidential and/or sensitive information
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills
• Must have ability to learn quickly and think creatively
• Eager to learn and be proactive with new tasks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment that may require more than a routine 9-5 commitment
• Must be able to maintain exceptional work ethic
• Must be punctual, organized and detail oriented
• Strong project management skills
• Excellent phone demeanor, written and oral communication skills
• Internet savvy, proficient with using the net as a research tool
• Ability to be self-motivated and work independently
• Ability to handle pressure and challenging situations
• Ability to travel
• Experience in live event industry is a plus
• Experience with Salesforce is a plus
• Sales and/or Administrative experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Reside in Connecticut or New York
