The Role:
We have an exciting opportunity to join a growing recruiting team as a Recruitment Assistant/Coordinator. The Coordinator is often a candidate's first contact for our company and plays a huge part in bringing top talent to the business. You will build and manage candidate pipelines that proactively identify the best channels for sourcing potential candidates across requisitions and geographies.
Responsibilities:
• Sourcing professionals across a wide range of roles (technical, sales, marketing)
• Build a healthy pipeline of qualified candidates
• Assist in the sourcing process
• Participate on the recruiting team in implementing and executing recruiting programs and strategies to fill current openings
• Find creative and effective places to post job descriptions (blogs, user-groups and beyond)
• Partner with hiring managers to determine the type of candidates that would best fit current openings
Qualifications:
• 1-2 years of recruiting, sourcing, and cold calling
• Proven track record sourcing and hiring passive candidates from direct competitors
• Uses databases, Boolean searches, LinkedIn and other social media networks to create a rich talent pipeline for hard to fill, niche, similar type jobs, aged or other key strategic positions
• Ability to cold-call and build relationships by phone
• Ability to build relationships with hiring managers at all levels, and the desire to partner closely with recruiters in order to positively impact the business
• An eye for detail and strong intuition for culture fit while screening candidates
• Successfully deliver on deadlines and flawlessly execute in a very fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience managing an applicant tracking system
