Full Time Job
Beverly Hills Public Relations Firm specializing in entertainment, celebrity, events, and non-profit PR is looking for a charismatic and hard-working assistant to the President and Vice President. This position is entry level and ideal for candidates with internship or agency experience. Recent graduates or May graduates should apply as well.
Regular office hours are 9am to 6pm Monday through Friday, but candidates must be ready to be available outside those hours for events.
We are looking for someone who is thick-skinned, outgoing, professional and able to handle tight deadlines. An interest in PR, especially for celebrities and non-profit organizations, is required. Looking for someone who wants to learn from experienced entertainment press agents.
Duties will include:
-Working on client bios, press kits and pitches
-Pitching clients for events and interviews
-Covering red carpets, interviews, etc
-Sending out press releases, media alerts, interview opportunities, etc
-Updating and creating press lists, contact lists, and other databases
-Scheduling meetings for President and Vice President
-Assisting clients with social media
-Going through daily, weekly and monthly publications for client coverage
-General office duties such as mail, phones
Other Qualifications:
-Previous assistant or internship experience
-Passion for television, film, and all things entertainment
-A strong interest in public relations and a desire to pursue a career in the field
-Excellent written communication and research skills
-Reliable transportation
-Be proactive and take initiative
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Cision, Acrobat and similar programs preferred
-Possess strong organizational skills
-Be detail oriented
-Be able to multi-task
