We are a film production company based in Los Angeles, CA, specializing in music videos and branded content.
We are looking for a detail-oriented project manager/coordinator to handle and oversee pre-production, production, and post, as well as assist with daily company responsibilities. This job requires someone very organized who can manage multiple projects at once. We're a casual and fun but fast-paced environment and are looking for someone with production, film, and entertainment experience who can work independently and has great communication skills. Attention to detail, scheduling skills, and high workflow efficiency are a must.
Job responsibilities include:
- Create, track, and manage project timelines (pre-production, filming, post)
- Coordinate between client, editors, etc; send notes and manage deadlines, check files for delivery
- Transition projects/bids into production; hire and interface with core freelance production teams
- Oversee company procedures and paperwork with each production
- Manage invoices, payments, and paperwork
- Research for new and upcoming projects
- Monitor purchase order logs and budgets to make sure they're accurate and complete; cross-check numbers
Requirements:
- 2 years production experience
- Strong knowledge of production and post-production workflows
- Knowledge of production accounting and budgeting
- Familiarity with tax paperwork, purchase orders, releases, etc
- Ability to juggle multiple projects at once
- Experience working directly with high-level clients
- Writing and/or editing skills a plus but not necessary
